Do not understand FA...

Do not understand FA...

Postby BFish » Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:16 am

A pitcher favors my deal before the sim then today I see he sent me an email saying "you almost had me convinced but the money wasn't quite close enough, please increase slightly and we might have a deal".... the very same day he signs a deal with another team for HALF the freaking money I offered him on the same exact years offered...smfh.

Also how are teams over budget still making FA offers on players for 20M+?

You can run over budget if you have a surplus of cash.... I think.

Also, the cash value of an offer is the primary thing a player will consider but not the only thing. They can consider how good teams are, where they are and what the depth chart looks like (among others things maybe). So the most cash doesn't always get the man.
